At Winston-Salem Pediatrics I provide pediatric primary care for all patients. I have experience with transgender and nonbinary youth in addition to all sexual and gender minorities. I can assist transgender and gender diverse patients with social transition, menstrual suppression, and in some cases can provide cross-hormone therapy (after a few visits discussing what to expect, common comorbidities we will also monitor and treat, and additional factors that can cause dysphoria) for older teenagers who have a letter from a mental health provider endorsing their diagnosis of gender dysphoria and readiness for cross-hormone therapy.
