Sarah (SG) Gettman
My practice primarily focuses on burnout, chronic illness, hormonal health, and mental health. My mission is to help you heal vibrantly so you can return to the world-shaking work you’re called to. I have experience effectively addressing and finding solutions for a range of health concerns, including but not limited to pelvic pain, recurrent UTIs, GI distress (including nausea, constipation/diarrhea, abdominal pain, bloating), seasonal and food allergies, generalized fatigue, LGBTQ+ Health (offering HRT for AZ patients), previous alcohol use, sober curiosity, and comprehensive wellness and preventive care. Additionally, I have extensive experience in working with the LGBT+ community, specifically in supporting transgender folks in transition using a trauma-informed and informed-consent model. I am actively involved as an ongoing volunteer, serving as an attending physician and preceptor in a free medical clinic for LGBT+ migrant individuals. My treatment approach integrates various holistic modalities, including botanical preparations, nutraceuticals, homeopathy, targeted diet and lifestyle modifications, mindfulness techniques, and pharmaceuticals when appropriate. New patient appointments are 90 minutes, giving you the space to share your complete health journey as we uncover the root causes of your concerns. I see you as a whole person, not just a collection of symptoms, and I provide realistic, grounded recommendations tailored to YOUR goals. I see patients virtually conducted on a secure HIPAA-compliant platform and make home visits in the Phoenix metro area. My practice is cash-pay and does not accept insurance. Sliding scale rates are available upon request. I earned my Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine (ND) from Sonoran University of Health Sciences (formerly Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine). Additionally, I hold a Master of Arts in Teaching from George Washington University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Corcoran College of Art & Design, now part of George Washington University. I am a proud alumna of Emma Willard School. I have pursued specialized training in pelvic pain conditions, having recently completed the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH) Pelvic Pain 6-month course. Furthermore, I have completed numerous gemstone therapy trainings with Dr. Sara Hazel and have earned a 200-hour yoga teacher certificate in Baptiste Power Yoga.
