Scotty Gilmore
My practice primarily focuses on gay men, religious trauma, and the LGBTQIA+ community. I believe that we all have an internal compass that guides us. As a counselor, my role is to assist you in connecting with your own compass; I see myself as a fellow traveler. Whether you're embarking on the initial journey of coming out or figuring out the broader aspects of what it means to be LGBTQIA+ beyond the coming out, I am here to support you. From navigating the intricacies of dating, relationships, and break-ups to venturing into the dynamic realm of Grindr, hook-ups, and matters of sex and intimacy, we can discuss it all. I'm here to address concerns related to HIV and STIs, helping to demystify and navigate these important topics. Our conversations may touch on various relationship models, such as monogamy, polyamory, and open relationships, as well as the complexities of mixed-orientation relationships. We can delve into explorations of your gender concepts and discuss the potential aspects of what a transition might look like for you. If you require a letter for Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), I can provide the necessary support if appropriate. In essence, our sessions are a safe space for you to explore, understand, and address a wide spectrum of issues relevant to your journey. I consider myself fortunate to get to journey with you for a time.
