Shannon Hoey

Hi! I’m Shannon, a board-certified nurse practitioner providing gender-affirming hormone therapy and psychiatric medication management in a space that’s inclusive, body-positive, and judgment-free. I work with LGBTQ+ adults, including transgender, nonbinary, gender-diverse, queer, questioning, and intersex folks. I offer gender-affirming hormone treatment using an informed-consent model, meaning your goals, comfort, and autonomy come first. There’s no “right” way to experience or express your gender — and you never have to prove who you are to receive care. I also provide psychiatric evaluations and medication management for anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, trauma-related concerns, mood disorders, and stress related to identity, discrimination, or burnout. My approach to medication is thoughtful and collaborative: no pressure, no rushing, and no one-size-fits-all plans. In my work, I focus on affirming, nonjudgmental care that respects autonomy, identity, and the full range of human experience. My goal is simple: to help you feel supported, informed, and more aligned with yourself.
