Sodah Minty
I am a licensed clinical psychologist with experience in a variety of settings including community mental health, university counseling and end-of-life psychotherapy in and outside of the hospital environment. Areas of clinical focus: Grief and Loss: Grief is not a linear process. We must remove the expectation that loss means we need to “feel better” and “move on”. I hope to be able to help you integrate the reality of your loss into your life. I believe that the relationship with your loved one can remain strong and can inform your living. Systemic Oppression, Race, Trauma: I practice from a feminist, decolonial, and relational lens. I am committed to advocating for those who feel "othered" by their identities. As an immigrant and a person of color, I have felt the strain of acculturative stress, systemic injustice. I hope to connect with you in these shared realities.
