Summer Moss

Summer received her doctorate in physical therapy from Samuel Merritt University in California in 2019 and her bachelor of science degree in Neuroscience and Physiology from UC San Diego in 2013. She is a physical therapist by trade and goofball by heart. She has experience working with clients across age ranges and settings including both virtual and in-person physical therapy for those with neurological, orthopedic, developmental, and musculoskeletal conditions. She has both personal and professional experience working with those with neurodivergencies and approaches treatment with a creative lens. She transitioned from pediatric to pelvic floor physical therapy and received extensive training in medical management for conditions ranging from pelvic pain to urinary, bowel, and sexual dysfunction. She has additional training in sexual education including both gender-affirming and trauma-informed care in a clinical and education environment. Outside of physical therapy, Summer has an extensive background in mental health advocacy work at both a local and national level. She prides herself on strong communication skills with an emphasis on empathetic connection with clients.
