After 23 years of critical care nursing, I recently obtained my Doctor of Nursing Practice specializing in family practice from UT Health San Antonio. My goal is to provide inclusive care with a holistic and collaborative approach that focuses on the complete physical and emotional needs of my patients from all backgrounds. My special interest is to serve those who identify as LGBTQIA+, anyone living with HIV/AIDS, and HIV prevention. I am originally from Kathmandu, Nepal, where I spent most of my childhood. I have lived in Sierra Leone, Italy, Boston, New Orleans and Miami before making Austin my home since 2006. Pride Family Medicine is a primary care clinic in Cedar Park that strives to be a healthcare ally for all members of the LGBTQ+ population. We focus on offering a professional and personalized care in a judgement-free and affirming space.
