Compassionate and welcoming family medicine primary care provider with expertise in general and gender-affirming primary as well as sexual and reproductive health care, specializing in care of LGBTQIAA* and gender and sexually diverse individuals. My approach is trauma informed and sex-positive and based in harm reduction. I have been prescribing gender-affirming hormone therapy using an informed consent model for more than 5 years, and have been honored to take care of patients who have sought me out from as far away as Traverse City, Grand Rapids, Midland, and Mt. Pleasant. I also offer PrEP, (once daily pill for HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis) to significantly reduce the chance of acquiring HIV, as well as post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), to reduce risk of developing HIV if taken within 72 hours of a risky exposure.
