I'm an obesity medicine specialist focused on providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients who are trying to lose weight to improve their health. Many patients living with overweight or obesity avoid seeking care due to how they have been treated in the past. My priority is to make patients feel welcome, seen, and heard, to build a positive relationship and partnership. I take a holistic / whole-person approach to weight loss - we will address medical issues, but also talk about sleep, nutrition, stress management, physical activity, and other factors that can influence a person's body weight and ability to achieve or maintain weight loss. I prescribe GLP-1 and other FDA approved treatments where appropriate. I am also trained and board certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric GI. I enjoy working with kids and teens in a family-centered approach to healthy, sustainable weight loss.
