She/Her

I am a mental health counselor in Waxahachie, Texas. Living in a small town in Texas it can be difficult to find a safe, non-judgemental space. I work to ensure my client's feel accepted and heard while working through any struggles they may be facing. I have 10 years of experience working in mental health and truly enjoy working with older LGBTQIA+ teens as well as adults. I also have a great deal of experience working with first time parents and females working who have experienced mother wounds. I am EMDR trained and frequently use this to help clients process trauma, overcome anxiety and develop a new perspective on life. I am also a level II reiki practionor and frequently use reiki to help clients work through trauma or release stuck energy in the body in order to reduce mental health symptoms. I typically use a combination of bilateral music (music played in a speaker that alternates from 1 ear to the other) while using reiki techniques. I have found this to be very helpful to regulate the nervous system and allow clients to process negative thoughts while I work to move stuck energy in the body. If you are interested in trying reiki feel free to email me and we can discuss the details further. Whether you are struggling with anxiety and depression, stress at home or work, or just need someone to help you navigate living a life that is authentic to you counseling and energy healing can absolutely help. I would be happy to schedule a time to talk, or email, to see if I would be a good fit for you.
