Tricia Smallwood
Trish is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. She has earned a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt School of Nursing as well as a Master of Public Health from Tulane University. With over 15 years of experience in HIV prevention, she is passionate about LGBTQ health equity and harm reduction. She is committed to providing holistic, compassionate care to underserved/resource denied communities, with a focus on sexual wellness, HIV and LGBTQIA+ health. A New York native, she lives in California with her girlfriend and their sassy elder pitbull, Mackenzie. Outside of work she enjoys reading, traveling & over analyzing reality tv. She is licensed as an APRN in CA, NY, TN and as a health APRN in FL. She currently splits her time between 2 NP positions: 1) Nurse Practitioner at East Bay Advanced Care in Oakland, CA and 2) Remote Nurse Practitioner at online PrEP, PEP and HIV treatment platform: QCarePlus.
