Tristan Petty
Hope In Healing was started unexpectedly as I began to become disheartened by agencies who lost focus on providing true client-driven care to those who needed it. As I began establishing the practice I became more aware of my own personal incongruencies with gender identity and expression. After almost 30 years of identifying as a lesbian, I came to realize that my personal identity was a transman. Prior to this, I was devoted and invested in providing care to those who were of the LGBTQIA community. What has not changed is my personal, professional, and ethical commitment to support people from all walks of life and all kinds of experiences and struggles. We are human beings and at this time with everything that is going on in the world, it is most crucial for me to be on the front lines supporting my community.
