Troy Harris
I exclusively treat OCD and hoarding disorder and specialize in working with adults whose OCD has optimized itself to support their personal and professional goals. My clients typically work in finance, law, or health care, are actors, athletes, performers, or parents - they possess high-stress, high-responsibility roles that can foster or even encourage OCD behaviors. I also specialize in working with people whose hoarding disorder centers itself around fear of lost opportunities or anticipated regret. I use a combination of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help my clients learn how to live life without constantly bracing for collapse. If you feel your rigidity has helped you reach your goals while simultaneously preventing you from enjoying your achievements, or if you have accumulated clutter so severe, it interferes with daily life and relationships, please do not hesitate to reach out.
