I don’t see you as an illness to be cured, but as a fellow human! I practice cultural humility and am always learning about our intersectional identities, including sexuality, gender identity, and race. Living today can be stressful, and while we may not immediately be able to change the world, our everyday actions do shape a world that can work better for all of us. Every day, we navigate complex, oppressive systems and personal challenges. Yet some psychological suffering may be unnecessary. When we stop fighting with our emotional experience, we can embrace life’s challenges and live fully. I can help you build flexibility, embracing life’s difficulties while acting more like who you want to be. My work focuses on strengthening mindfulness and attentional skills, heightening emotional awareness, and building self-compassion. As a queer human living with ADHD, I understand how what are often seen as a problems can also be superpowers. I incorporate mindfulness, social justice, feminist, and existential techniques, encouraging you to savor life and make intentional decisions. Outside of therapy, I enjoy music, nature, good company, delicious food, and a good cup of coffee. I see humans all over Ohio and accept multiple insurance plans.
