Udim Isang
Dr. Udim Isang (They/Them/It), Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT), Doctor of Education, and Indigenous Medicine Practitioner (Mbia Idiong), embraces ancient wisdom handed down through generations. They are a genetic and autodidactic student of Indigenous practices from the Ibibio/Annang tribes of Nigeria, Chinese medicine, and Tibetan Buddhist tantra. Dr. Udim is passionate about providing a safe haven for those plagued with religious, cultural, societal, and childhood trauma, as well as providing a sanctuary for addressing the physical aftermath of emotional, mental, and spiritual trauma. Through the intuitive utilization of modalities like dance, Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) and brainspotting, they guide clients on a transformative healing path. Dr. Isang's dedication to holistic alternative healing shines brightly, bringing ancient wisdom to modern wellness. The mission of Sunny Therapeutics, a Holistic Physical Therapy practice, is to "restore wholeness through Indigenous Medicine." Sunny Therapeutics is dedicated to elevating and maintaining the health of marginalized communities, particularly the QTBIPOC community. Through education, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment, Sunny Therapeutics strives to improve physical, mental, spiritual, and sexual well-being."
