I am a nurse practitioner cares for people who have or at risk for anal cancer. I have special expertise in treating patients with anal dysplasia (abnormal cells in the anus) and HPV-related conditions in an outpatient and surgical setting at UCSF. I perform high resolution anoscopy (HRA), a specialized instrument to screen for anal cancer and detect any lesions caused by HPV. I also provide treatment (topical, electrocautery, surgery) for precancerous lesions that might turn into anal cancer.
