They/Them

I believe that we are the experts of our own lives; constantly striving to navigate and understand our changing identities and the relationship with ourselves and the world around us. Through an anti-oppressive framework, I aim to provide a safe space for you to express yourself and feel empowered. Together, we will explore your goals for therapy and discuss the ways in which you would like to experience change, growth, and healing. Using a trauma-informed and culturally-competent lens, I provide counselling to clients who are experiencing anxiety and depression, suicidality and self-harm, stress and self-esteem concerns, grief and loss, challenges with relationships and communication, abuse and intimate partner violence, addiction and substance use concerns, 2SLGBTQ+ identity exploration, as well as cancer diagnoses and caregiver support. I strive to provide counselling support that is sex and body positive, kink-friendly, and explores non-monogamous and polyamorous relationship dynamics. As a queer therapist with over a decade of experience working with individuals, relationships, and families in the field of mental health, I draw from a number of therapeutic modalities, including: CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused brief therapy, feminist and family systems theory, existential therapy, and narrative therapy. I invite you to reach out for a free 20-minute phone consultation in order to assess your therapeutic needs and ensure that we are the right fit to begin working together. All individuals living in British Columbia, Canada and above the age of 19 are welcome. I hold an M.A in Counselling Psychology from McGill University, and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with the B.C. Association of Clinical Counsellors (#18518).
