Wendy Ortiz
Hi, my name is Wendy, and I use She/Her/Ella/La pronouns. I am a Bilingual (Spanish and English) Latinx, relational cultural therapist, and empowering clients is at the heart of my work. My focus centers around supporting folks respond to PTSD, intimate partner violence, sexual harm, trauma, generational trauma, spiritual abuse, immigration trauma, anxiety, depression, and navigating gender and sexuality identity and grief felt when navigating chronic medical health conditions. During individual sessions (provided in either English, Spanish or Spanglish), I offer a safe and nonjudgmental space to promote healing, self-exploration, clarity and increase self-esteem. The theoretical lenses used to help support clients include, trauma-informed approach, relational cultural approach, harm reduction, CBT, anti-oppressive lenses, EMDR, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and culturally affirming approach and other modalities tailored to your needs. Whatever you are going through right now, I care and look forward to offering support throughout the therapeutic process.
